🏅 Invisalign® Platinum Provider

Dr. Ahmed Mansour holds Platinum Provider status with Invisalign® — a designation earned through a high volume of successfully completed cases and advanced clinical training. Only a select group of orthodontists in the St. Petersburg region holds this level.

More cases. More experience. Better outcomes.

How Does Invisalign® Work?

Invisalign® is a system of custom-fabricated clear aligners that gradually move your teeth into their ideal positions. Each aligner is designed using precise 3D digital modeling of your teeth and is worn for approximately one to two weeks before you progress to the next aligner in the series. The aligners are made from SmartTrack® — a proprietary thermoplastic material developed by Align Technology specifically for Invisalign® — which applies gentle, consistent force for predictable tooth movement.

Unlike braces, Invisalign® aligners are completely removable. You take them out to eat, drink anything other than water, brush, and floss. They go back in after meals. The recommendation is to wear them 20–22 hours per day for optimal results.

Virtually Invisible

SmartTrack® material is crystal-clear. Most people will not notice you’re wearing aligners in conversation or in photos.

Removable

Take them out to eat anything you like. No food restrictions. No special cleaning tools. Normal brushing and flossing throughout treatment.

Comfortable

No brackets. No wires. No adjustments that leave your mouth sore. Smooth, custom-fit aligners designed for your specific anatomy.

What Can Invisalign® Treat?

As a Platinum Provider, Dr. Mansour has the training and case volume to treat a wide spectrum of orthodontic issues with Invisalign® — including cases that many providers would refer to braces:

  • Crowding — Teeth that are too close together or overlapping. One of the most common reasons patients seek treatment.
  • Spacing — Gaps between teeth caused by missing teeth, small teeth, or jaw size discrepancies.
  • Overbite — Upper front teeth that overlap too far over the lower front teeth.
  • Underbite — Lower front teeth that sit in front of upper front teeth when biting.
  • Crossbite — Upper and lower teeth that do not align properly side-to-side.
  • Open Bite — Upper and lower front teeth that do not make contact when the back teeth bite together.
  • Complex Cases — Dr. Mansour’s Platinum Provider status means he takes on cases other providers decline. If you’ve been told you’re not a candidate for Invisalign® elsewhere, come in for a second opinion.

Why the Platinum Provider Designation Matters.

Invisalign® Provider status is tiered. The designation — Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond — is determined by the number of Invisalign® cases a provider has completed and their level of advanced training. It is not self-reported and cannot be purchased. It is earned case by case.

Platinum Provider status means Dr. Mansour has completed a high volume of Invisalign® cases across a wide spectrum of complexity — from simple spacing corrections to complex bite issues that lower-tier providers would not attempt with aligners. When you choose a Platinum Provider, you are choosing someone who has seen your case type before, many times, and knows how to get the result you’re looking for.

Invisalign® Works Best For:

01

Complimentary Consultation

Dr. Mansour evaluates your teeth, bite, and jaw using CEPH and PANO diagnostic imaging — included at no charge. He determines whether Invisalign® is the right approach for your case and presents a complete investment summary.

02

iTero™ Digital Scan

Your dental assistant uses the iTero™ intraoral scanner to capture a precise 3D digital model of your teeth in 2–3 minutes. No trays, no putty, no discomfort. The digital scan is the foundation of your custom aligner design.

03

ClinCheck® Treatment Preview

Your iTero™ scan is uploaded to the ClinCheck® system — Invisalign®’s 3D treatment planning platform. You and Dr. Mansour can preview a digital simulation of your tooth movement from start to finish before a single aligner is made. This is your treatment plan, visible before you commit.

04

Custom Aligner Fabrication

Your aligners are custom-fabricated from SmartTrack® material using your precise digital impressions. Each aligner in the series is slightly different, progressively moving your teeth toward their final positions.

05

Progress Appointments Every 8–12 Weeks

Dr. Mansour monitors your progress at appointments every 8–12 weeks. He confirms tooth movement is tracking as planned, delivers your next series of aligners, and makes any mid-course adjustments needed. You see Dr. Mansour at every appointment — not a rotating associate.

06

Completion & Retainers

When your teeth reach their final positions, you are fitted for retainers — clear removable or bonded fixed, as prescribed by Dr. Mansour. The Retainer Program ($750 for 5 years) is available at your completion appointment. Philips Zoom™ whitening ($500) is available to complete your transformation.

How long does Invisalign® treatment take at SPOCS?

Invisalign® treatment at SPOCS typically takes 12 to 18 months for most adult cases, though simpler cases can complete in as little as 6 months. Complex cases may take longer. Dr. Mansour gives you a realistic timeline at your complimentary consultation using the ClinCheck® digital preview.

Invisalign® cost varies by case complexity. Dr. Mansour presents a complete investment summary at your complimentary consultation, including any insurance benefits. Payment is handled through OrthoFi with a $500 minimum down payment. FSA and HSA are accepted.

For most orthodontic issues, Invisalign® delivers results equivalent to braces when worn consistently. As a Platinum Provider, Dr. Mansour treats complex cases with Invisalign® that lower-tier providers would not attempt. He will give you an honest recommendation based on your specific case.

Invisalign® aligners should be worn 20 to 22 hours per day for optimal results. They are removed for eating, drinking anything other than water, and for brushing and flossing. Consistent wear is the single biggest factor in achieving the expected result on schedule.

Most patients experience mild pressure for a day or two when switching to a new aligner set. This is normal — it means the aligners are working. There are no brackets or wires to irritate cheeks or gums. Most patients find Invisalign® significantly more comfortable than braces throughout treatment.

Yes. Invisalign® is available for teens at SPOCS and includes compliance indicators built into the aligners to help Dr. Mansour and parents track wear time. Dr. Mansour assesses whether Invisalign® or braces is the better option for each teen based on their case complexity and lifestyle.

Invisalign® Platinum Provider status is earned through a documented high volume of completed Invisalign® cases and advanced training. It is not self-reported. Platinum Providers treat more complex cases and have more experience with the system — which translates directly to better outcomes for patients.
