Do Designer Brackets Work as Well as Regular Braces?
Yes — completely. WildSmiles® brackets are manufactured to the same clinical standards as traditional orthodontic brackets and are placed the same way by Dr. Mansour. The shape of the bracket is purely cosmetic — it doesn’t affect how force is applied to move teeth or how treatment progresses.
One important note: WildSmiles® brackets are not self-ligating. This means they use elastic ties — which is actually what makes the color-changing at each visit possible. It’s part of the fun, and it has no negative impact on treatment outcomes.
