At SPOCS Orthodontics, we believe every patient deserves a specialist who listens before they plan, and cares long after treatment is complete. Dr. Ahmed Mansour brings a rare combination of advanced orthodontic expertise, in-depth knowledge of jaw health, and a genuine commitment to the St. Petersburg community. This isn’t a volume practice. It’s a precision practice — and there is a difference.
SPOCS Orthodontics was founded on a simple but powerful belief: that exceptional orthodontic care should be personal, precise, and accessible to every family in our community. From your first consultation to the day your retainers are placed, you will know your name, your goals, and the story behind your smile.
Our practice specializes in comprehensive orthodontic care for children, teens, and adults — including braces, Invisalign®, WildSmiles® designer braces, early treatment, and a dedicated program for jaw pain and TMJ disorder using therapeutic neuromodulator therapy. We are one of the very few orthodontic practices in the St. Petersburg area that brings this full spectrum of care under one roof, guided by one specialist.
Did You Know?
Hi, I’m Dr. Ahmed Mansour — orthodontist and founder of SPOCS Orthodontics in St. Petersburg. I create confident, healthy smiles for kids, teens, and adults using modern options like braces, WildSmiles® designer braces, Invisalign®, along with bite correction, TMJ care, and long-term retention.
My approach is simple: listen first, explain every option clearly, and design a plan that fits your goals, your lifestyle, and your budget. No pressure. No one-size-fits-all protocols. Just honest, specialist-level care built around you.
I am genuinely excited to meet you and map out a smile you will love.
Dr. Mansour spent years building a thriving orthodontic practice in the Hudson Valley, New York — earning a reputation as one of the region’s most trusted and forward-thinking orthodontic specialists. Known for combining clinical precision with a genuinely patient-centered approach, he developed a following of families who appreciated not just the quality of his results, but the clarity and care with which he guided them through treatment.
In November 2025, Dr. Mansour brought that same standard of care to St. Petersburg, Florida — founding SPOCS Orthodontics as a home for patients who want specialist-level attention, honest guidance, and results that last. St. Petersburg is not a stepping stone. It is home — and Dr. Mansour is here to build lasting relationships with this community.
What separates Dr. Mansour from virtually every other orthodontist in the St. Petersburg area is the depth of his expertise in jaw health and TMJ disorder. As an orthodontic specialist, he has a clinical understanding of bite mechanics, jaw muscle function, and the relationship between tooth alignment and joint loading that general dentists and cosmetic injectors are simply not trained to provide.
This expertise is the clinical foundation of the SPOCS Neuromodulator Therapy for TMJ program — one of the only orthodontist-administered therapeutic neurotoxin programs in the region. Using Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin as clinically appropriate, Dr. Mansour treats the muscle overactivation driving jaw pain, tension headaches, bruxism, and TMJ-related facial soreness — with the precision of a specialist who understands exactly which muscles to target and why. This is not cosmetic treatment. It is jaw medicine guided by orthodontic science.
Dr. Mansour built SPOCS around a treatment experience that feels different because it is different. Every new patient consultation includes CEPH and PANO diagnostic imaging at no charge — because accurate diagnosis is the foundation of every good treatment plan, and patients should not have to pay for the information their doctor needs to help them.
The workflow is modern and patient-friendly: digital 3D scanning with the iTero intraoral scanner eliminates messy impressions, CBCT imaging is available for complex jaw cases, and OrthoFi makes payment planning straightforward and transparent. But the technology is in service of something more important — the conversation. Dr. Mansour takes the time to understand what each patient wants, explain every option honestly, and design a plan they feel genuinely good about.
Speed, Accuracy & Comfort
At SPOCS Orthodontics, we use the iTero intraoral scanner — a compact, handheld wand that captures a precise 3D digital image of your teeth and jaw in real time. No trays. No putty. No gagging. No unpleasant aftertaste. Just a comfortable, non-invasive scan that lets you breathe, swallow, and move freely throughout the process.
The iTero handheld wand moves gently around your mouth, capturing a continuous digital 3D image of your teeth and gum tissue. As your dental assistant scans, the 3D model of your teeth builds on screen in real time — you can watch your own dental anatomy take shape right before your eyes. Once complete, the digital image is sent electronically to the lab. For Invisalign® cases, it is available in the ClinCheck treatment planning system the very next day.
No goopy material, no unpleasant aftertaste, no anxiety. The most invasive step in traditional orthodontic care is gone entirely.
Digital scanning has no distortion from patient movement during set, removal, or disinfection — common failure points in traditional impressions.
The iTero image builds on screen as your dental assistant scans, allowing for immediate adjustments. You can follow along and see your teeth in 3D as it happens.
A new disposable shield is used for every patient, ensuring maximum cleanliness and hygiene at every appointment.
As a dedicated father, Dr. Mansour knows what it feels like to sit in a waiting room wondering if your child is in the right hands. That personal experience shapes the way he and his team approach every family who walks through the SPOCS door — with warmth, patience, and the understanding that for most families, starting orthodontic treatment is a significant decision.
He is deeply committed to making exceptional orthodontic care accessible to working families in St. Petersburg. Through flexible OrthoFi payment plans, transparent upfront pricing, and a genuine willingness to work with each family’s situation, Dr. Mansour ensures that high-quality specialist care does not feel out of reach.
Dr. Mansour and the SPOCS team proudly serve Spanish-speaking patients and families. If Spanish is your preferred language, please let us know when you call or book your appointment — we will make sure every part of your consultation and treatment experience is conducted in Spanish, from your first visit through the completion of your care.
New patient forms are also available in Spanish at spocsorthodontics.com/patient-resources/new-patient-forms-spanish, so you can complete your intake in the language that is most comfortable for you.
We see fewer patients than larger chain practices — by design. Every patient deserves Dr. Mansour’s full attention, not a rushed consultation.
We will never recommend treatment you don’t need. If it’s not the right time, we’ll tell you. If there’s a better option, we’ll explain why.
From the front desk to the treatment chair, SPOCS is designed to feel different. Comfortable. Personal. Like a place that’s genuinely glad you’re here.
Dr. Mansour is an orthodontic specialist — not a general dentist offering orthodontics on the side. That distinction matters for your outcomes.
Treatment doesn’t end at debanding. Our Retainer Program and Philips Zoom™ whitening ensure your smile looks and stays exactly as it should.

“Dr. Mansour was one of just a couple orthodontists to respond to voicemails about getting an “emergency” appointment for my second grade daughter when her appliance broke and was hurting her. He was the *only* one willing to see her same day. Great patient manner — totally put her at ease. Sorted out the problem in literally a couple minutes. One of these rare people who goes above and beyond — I would recommend SPOCS Orthodontics to anyone!”

Marta de Haro Borrás
Clinical Coordinator & Front Desk Lead
Marta is the first voice you hear and the first face you see at SPOCS — and that’s no accident. She sets the tone for every patient’s experience: warm, organized, and genuinely invested in making sure you feel taken care of from the moment you walk in the door. Whether you’re calling to book your first consultation, asking about your insurance benefits, or navigating a scheduling change, Marta handles it all with the kind of calm, cheerful efficiency that makes the whole process feel easy. She’s the reason patients say the front desk experience at SPOCS feels different.
Originally from Spain, I moved to the United States in 2015 and have built every chapter of my career with intention. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of South Florida, and I bring that foundation to everything I do at SPOCS — from how I welcome families at the front desk to how I think about making every visit better. Being bilingual means I can connect with our Spanish-speaking families in a way that really matters, and that connection is one of the things I love most about this work. I’m passionate about healthcare administration, patient communication, and the details that make a clinical environment feel genuinely welcoming — and I’m excited to keep growing here at SPOCS.
Laura leads SPOCS’s TMJ and Neuromodulator Therapy Program, helping patients find relief from jaw pain, headaches, and bruxism. As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with AAFE TMJ certification, she works closely with Dr. Mansour to assess symptoms, create personalized treatment plans, and administer expert neuromodulator therapy with compassionate care.
I’m a St. Petersburg native, and coming home to practice here feels exactly right. My nursing career began at All Children’s Hospital, where I spent 17 years — first at the bedside and later as a Nurse Practitioner — caring for pediatric patients and the families who love them. That experience gave me something I carry into every patient encounter: an understanding that the person in front of me is someone’s whole world. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brenau University, a Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University, and a Post-Master Certificate in Pediatric Acute Care from the University of Florida. My certification in neuromodulator therapy for TMJ and migraines brought me to SPOCS — and every day I get to help patients find relief from pain they’ve often been carrying for years. As a mom myself, I know what it means to want the very best care for your family. That’s what I’m here to provide.
